I am very proud and excited to announce the release of my second edition of Inspirations from My Family and Friends, a book of poetry and Bible passages written to help heal the soul, comfort the weary, and celebrate the joys.  There are more poems, more Bible passages, and more inspiring words in this edition.  I was given the opportunity to preach at my church last weekend, sharing my spiritual journey as well as my poetry.  I have never felt so blessed.  So, in celebration of this inspiring experience, AMITY Publications is looking for entries for the APPA –  AMITY Publications Poetry Award – Poetry that Speaks to Your Heart and Soul.   Your poem will be reviewed by a panel of judges for consideration of this Award which will be given in June 2010.  Entries must include answers to the following questions:  (1)  Why did you write your poem?  (2) What Biblical passage did you feel was most appropriate for your poem?  (3) Have you every published your poem?  (4)  Have you ever had the opportunity to share your poetry with others?  (5) May we publish it on our website?  Please submit your poetry to info@amitypublications.com , using APPA Entry as the subject if you would like to be considered for the award. May your inspiration inspire others!
